Native USDC, EURC, and CCTP are now live on Cronos network, soon powering seamless deposits and trading on the Cronos app. The first network to launch all three at once.

Native USDC, EURC, and CCTP are live on Cronos network

We’re excited to announce that native USDC, EURC, and CCTP are now live on Cronos network.

The Cronos app is a mobile-first trading platform where users will be able to trade tokenized stocks, crypto, and prediction markets from a single account, with up to 10x buying power, 24/7 markets, and access in 183+ countries¹. It’s built on Cronos network, a high-performance EVM blockchain supported by Crypto.com.

Native USDC² will power the Cronos app. When the app launches, users will deposit USDC and start trading. CCTP-powered deposits let USDC move natively in from other supported chains without relying on wrapped assets. Together with EURC, Circle’s euro stablecoin, this brings regulated dollar- and euro-denominated stablecoin infrastructure to the wider Cronos ecosystem.

What native USDC brings to the Cronos app

When the app launches, native USDC will mean:

• Deposit USDC directly. Users will be able to deposit USDC and start trading. Tokenized stocks, crypto, prediction markets all from one balance.

• Settle in USDC. Every trade settles in USDC, redeemable 1:1 for US dollars.

• Move funds from any supported chain. CCTP lets you bring USDC from 20+ supported chains to Cronos directly. No third-party bridges.

Native USDC and EURC on Cronos

Cronos previously supported only bridged USDC. Native USDC is issued by regulated affiliates of Circle on Cronos.

Over time, the ecosystem will migrate bridged USDC liquidity to native USDC. Bridged USDC will continue to operate normally during this transition and will remain clearly labeled in block explorers and app interfaces.
